Tattoo styles

What we tattoo.

Seven styles, from single-needle fine line to bold traditional. Pick one to see only that work.

  • Thin single-needle lines — botanicals, small symbols and delicate drawings.

    Fine line in detail →
  • Words, names and dates, in script, serif or bold traditional letters.

  • Bold outlines and solid black: roses, lighthouses, skulls — made to last.

  • Drawn scenes and engraving-style pictures, like a page from a sketchbook.

  • Solid black shapes and dotwork shading, strong from across the room.

  • Polynesian and tribal patterns: bands, suns and shapes in solid black.

  • Small, detailed and lifelike — animals and objects in miniature.

Artists

Who tattoos you.

Meet our tattoo and piercing artists before you book — each has a style they love most.

  • Lorenzo in the studio, arms crossed, a tattoo machine in each hand

    Lorenzo

    Traditional · Blackwork · Ornamental · Piercing

Bold outlines, solid black and every piercing in the studio. Four languages behind the machine — and, in one Google review, “an epic job… almost NO pain”.

  • Margo in the studio, arms crossed, tattoo flash framed on the wall behind her

    Margo

    Fine line · Lettering · Illustrative · Micro-realism

Fine line, lettering and engraving — work that lives in millimetres. She fits the design to your body, not the other way round. One review: “a feather-light touch”.

  • Open chair

    This could be you.

Tattoo artists · guest spots & residents

We’re looking for artists who love their craft — for a guest spot in Málaga or a permanent chair in the old town. Send us your portfolio.

Answers

Good to know.

Do I need an appointment?

Not for small pieces. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00–23:00. For bigger work, send us your idea first so we can plan the time.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Walk-in fine line up to 5 × 5 cm is 50 € — two for 80 €, three for 120 €. Everything else is priced on size, detail and colour: send a photo or a frame number and we’ll quote it for free, along with the smallest size that keeps your design readable. Prices include VAT (IVA).

Can I bring my own design?

Yes. Bring a sketch, a photo or a screenshot — or pick a frame from our work and we’ll adapt it to you.

Do you tattoo hands, feet or knees?

No. Hands and feet are where a tattoo ages worst: the skin there renews faster, and washing, creams, work, shoes and socks rub the same lines every day. Ink drops out, what stays spreads, and the piece needs redoing within a year or two. We also leave out elbows and knees, front and back: the skin there is thin and folds all day, so lines blur and fade faster than anywhere else. Tell us your idea and we’ll suggest a placement where it still looks like your design in five years.

I’m on holiday. Can I swim after a new tattoo?

A fresh tattoo shouldn’t go in the sea, a pool or strong sun while it heals. If you can, plan your tattoo for the end of your trip. You’ll leave with aftercare instructions. More on timing, flying home and booking ahead: tattoo on holiday guide.

It’s my first tattoo. What should I expect?

We talk through the design, size and placement with you before we start, and there’s no rush. Eat something beforehand and bring a photo ID.

What should I tell you about my health?

Anything that could affect healing, before we start — and especially if this is your first tattoo, because your body has never met one. A nickel allergy is a no from us: needles and pigments can carry traces of it, and the piece can swell, itch or break out for years, most of all in summer. If a light scratch leaves a raised, itchy welt that fades in half an hour — dermographism — tell us, and we’ll test a small patch first; sometimes the answer is still no. Skin conditions, medication and anything that slows healing count too. We’re not doctors and we don’t ask for your medical file: we ask you to be honest, and if you’re unsure, ask your own doctor first.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older, with a photo ID. Under 18? It’s possible with written consent from a parent or legal guardian — message us first and we’ll tell you which documents to bring.

Is there anything to sign before we start?

Yes — an informed consent form, the one Andalusian health rules require. It explains how the session goes, the risks, what we need to know about your health and how to look after the tattoo; you read it, ask about anything that isn’t clear, and sign it. Bring a photo ID, we check it. Under 18: a parent or legal guardian signs too, in person. The form records that we informed you and that you answered honestly — it does not sign away our responsibility for our own work.

Do you do piercings?

Yes — walk-in, no appointment, about five minutes. An earlobe is 25 €, two lobes 40 €; every other ear, face or navel piercing is 50 €; nipples are 50 € each. We don’t do dermals or surface piercings: they migrate and get infected far too often for us to stand behind them.

Can you cover an old tattoo?

Often, yes. Send a photo of the tattoo you’d like to cover and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Only to hold a date: 20 € at walk-in prices, from 50 € for a custom piece. It comes off the final price. Walk in without booking and you pay on the day.

How long does a session take?

A small walk-in piece at the prices above takes 15–20 minutes. Larger work is planned as one or more sessions — we tell you how long when we quote.

How should I prepare?

Sleep well, eat before you come and skip alcohol the day before. Wear clothes that leave the placement easy to reach.

How do I look after a new tattoo?

Keep it clean and lightly moisturised, don’t scratch it, and keep it out of the sea, pools and direct sun for a month. You get written aftercare with every tattoo, and the full aftercare guide is online, for tattoos and piercings.
